At Bolia we want to minimise our impact on the environment and our waste ration through initiatives in the main parts of our business; such as through product development, product recycling, reduction of packing and minimising the transportation.
One of the unique parts of the Bolia Concept is that we have less than 5% of our range in stock. In that way we secure that our customers receives a fresh and newly produced item and that we don’t spend space and resources on warehousing and stock.

The Bolia Concept is based on an innovative and effective supply system which is an ideal platform for securing minimum waste and CO2 emissions. In short the Bolia distribution process can be described like this:

• The customer chose the desired furniture model, the individual choice of fabric, material and colour.
• The customer places the order in the Bolia store or on the Bolia website and receives immediately a specific delivery date and time.
• The order goes straight to the craftsman in the assigned furniture factory, who hand makes or prepares the customer’s order.
• If the customer has ordered other furniture items from other assigned Bolia factories, does the Bolia supply chain secure right-on-time consolidation of all items in Denmark, before they are shipped to the customer’s home address, at the agreed delivery date and time.
• The custom made furniture products are delivered to the customer.

During the process does the Bolia supply chain also secure optimal planning of transportations, most effective home deliveries and much more. All in benefit for the transport cost and time – and for minimising the CO2 emissions.

At the Bolia Outlet in Kolding we recycle our return products by selling them at favourable prices and we carry various spare parts in order to optimise the recycling and minimise the waste.
The non-saleable products from our return flow, we give away to local charity activities or recycle at local waste stations.

Less than 5% in stock means a newly produced item, and no resources for ware housing and stock wasted.		The Bolia Concept has a very innovative and effective supply chain which minimises our transports.		The non saleable return products are recycled or given away to local charity.		At our online Outlet we recycle our return and showroom products at favorable prices and thereby minimise waste.
