For us, the OEKO-TEX-certificate has never been a nice to have but a need to have, supporting our sustainable mission and ambition that shapes everything we do. From the initial idea to final design.
OEKO-TEX is a European standard for fabrics and textiles that ensures no dangerous chemicals have been used in the creation of the fabric. OEKO-TEX is a minimum requirement for colour fastness, meaning colours are long lasting and will not fade if treated correctly. OEKO-TEX is a proof of good quality and equates to GS-testing of durability or the Danish Swan label ‘Svanemærket’. Most of our fabrics are already OEKO-TEX-certified, and the left minority will be within the coming year.
