By keeping production in Europe, we can closely oversee every step of the process, ensuring only the best materials are used. Each design is made to order, so nothing is crafted until it’s requested by you, helping to reduce overproduction and the carbon footprint of transportation.

Like many of our other designs, the Arke Modular Sofa is tested by the Danish Technological Institute to meet EN standards for safety, strength, and durability. With removable and exchangeable covers, you can easily refresh and redefine the look over time, while allowing you to extend the life of your design.

With the Kite outdoor dining chair, separate components like the seat and back can be replaced or upgraded if they wear down over time. This makes it easy for you to refresh the look without replacing the entire chair, giving the design a longer lifespan.

The Kite outdoor dining chair embodies our design principles of repair, reduce, and recycle, featuring interchangeable components that extend its lifespan and allow for upgrades over time.
At the heart of our designs, we combine beauty with responsibility. Designed for circularity means creating products that reduce waste and are easy to disassemble for recycling and reuse when the design is no longer usable. The Swing dining chair, BOLIA's first product to earn the EU Ecolabel, is a great example, meeting the highest environmental, production and waste management standards. When you're ready for a change, every part of the chair can be taken apart, allowing materials like FSC™-certified wood to be reused.

This ensures our furniture is transparent to you, helping you make informed choices. In partnership with MÅLBAR, we assess everything from raw materials to production, shipping, packaging, and disposal, giving you and us a clear picture of each product's climate impact.

Our unwavering commitment through SBTi
We work to create positive change by participating in the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), an important step to ensure our climate goals are based on the latest scientific research. SBTi is a global, non-profit organisation that helps businesses set ambitious, achievable targets while holding us accountable.
In 2024, we submitted our own science-based targets for approval, creating a strong and realistic plan for our actions. With SBTi’s guidance, we stay on track and make meaningful progress towards our climate goals. Now that our targets are officially recognised, we’ll be tracking and sharing our greenhouse gas emissions and progress with you every year, staying transparent as we work to make a change to something better.
